Platinum Tower, the 43-storeyed landmark skyscraper, is situated on the Doha Corniche. The 215m high tornado-shaped tower has a built-up area of 86,000m². The building includes a seven level parking facility that can accommodate around 1,000 cars at a time. Its façade is formed from the utilization of an unconventional diagonal curtain wall accommodating progressively varying floor plates culminating at the top with an illuminated roof.
