ACC was awarded the civil works for the Shuweihat 100 MIGD desalination plant by Fisia Italimpianti. The plant, which went online in May 2004, has a capacity of 455,000m³ per day of drinking water. The project consists of six Multi Stage Flash dstillers (MSF), each wth a capacity of 16.7 MIGD (currently the worlds largest single unit distillers). ACC's scope includes civil, structural steel and marine works.
