ACC has completed the civil and structural
steel works for the Taweelah B Extension desalination plant, adding 23 MIGD to the Taweelah complex, which is one of the main power and potable water production areas in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The plant is comprised of three Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) distillers, each with a capacity of 7.7 MIGD.

The EPC contractor was a consortium of Bechtel and Hitachi Zosen.
